‘Shell Pink’ Autumn Catchfly is one of the garden’s great joys when in late summer and autumn its bright green, leafy clumps are smothered with masses of silver-pink flowers. The flowers have delicately notched petals. The common name ‘Catchfly’ is derived from the slightly hairy stems of the plant which may catch small insects. Native to Turkey and the Caucasus, autumn catchflies are happy growing in any well drained sunny or lightly shaded spot as long as they are given an extra watering during dry periods. Height 25cm width 30-40cm.
