Cistus monspeliensis

Cistus monspeliensis is native to the Mediterranean area and the Canary Islands. It makes a tough drought tolerant evergreen shrub some 100cm tall by 120 across. The delicate looking, pure white flowers, which smother the plant during spring, are very attractive to bees which love the flower’s nectar.
