Due to the wonder of tissue culture we can offer this superb form of Echeveria affinis which was found growing by the wayside in north western Mexico by R.J. Taylor. An especially dark form it makes rosettes of the blackest of black leaves. These leaves are dusted with silver farina. During summer the 12cm diameter rosettes produce scarlet and green bells on 15cm tall stems. Hardy to -5C ‘Black Knight’ is best grown in a sunny spot. If grown in a pot give the plant a good soak and then let it dry out before watering again. If the pot sits in a saucer be sure to empty it of excess water.
