Stachys byzantina ‘Silky Fleece’
‘Silky Fleece’ is a ground-hugging Lamb’s Ears with a very apt name. In our stock beds it’s made an evergreen mat of intensely silver woolly leaves about 30cm across and scarcely 5cm high. Quite showy betony-like stems, some 15cm tall, are covered in lavender pink flowers during summer. Like all Lamb’s Ears it is tough, sun loving and tolerant of dryness. 5cm x 30cm.
