For months during late spring, summer and autumn the fragrance of Weaver’s Broom lights up the garden. This super tough plant is as happy in coastal gardens as it is in inland gardens. Growing to 2 metres or more tall by 2 metres across it produces large fragrant yellow pea flowers on 45cm long terminal racemes for many months during late spring, summer and autumn. It is the longest flowered of any of the brooms and so richly perfumed. Needs a sunny well drained spot and is drought hardy when once established. This superb plant has gained the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit.
