This very low carpeting plant, with its tiny silver-blue leaves, makes creeping mats which will cover both soil and rocks. A native of the mountains of New Zealand it makes a very useful long-lived groundcover for any sunny well-drained spot. It is quite drought tolerant when once established. Height 3-4cms high at most, spreading 30-40cm, or up to a metre when established.
