Hosta ‘Shadowland Hudson Bay’
Surely, this must be one of the most beautiful of all the variegated Hostas. Its large, handsome, strongly textured leaves have wide blue edges, cream centres with some light green marbling. Racemes of bell-shaped, purple flowers appear in summer, rising elegantly above the foliage. Hostas prefer to grow in light to medium shade and can be grown in the garden, but do better when grown in pots, which is how we grow them at Lambley. Height of foliage 60-70cm with a similar spread.
