‘Red Ensign’ is one of the most beautiful of all the frost hardy Hibiscus. Its startlingly beautiful white flowers has a magenta-red centre. Happy in any sunny spot in the garden. A good cutting back by about a third will keep it healthy and floriferous. At Lambley we grow it as a small standard. Hibiscus syriacus is native to China but was brought to western Asia via the Silk Road. 200cm – 300cm by 150cm.
