This shrub from the dry Californian hills makes a tidy mound of silver, spoon shaped, evergreen leaves topped, from late spring until early autumn, by sulphur yellow flowers. Really tough it will grow 15cm tall by 60cm across and need a sunny well drained spot. It is very drought tolerant when once established.
