During spring and early summer, a tight grass-like tuft is ringed by clusters of large mauve-blue, upward-facing flowers. Although uncommon in Australia, it is quite obliging in the garden if planted in a sunny, well drained spot which doesn’t parch during dry periods. It will also make a beautiful pot plant. Height 8cm width in flower 25cm.
