This native of the Eucalypt forests of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland is a terrestrial fern with reddish new growth. ‘Ruby’ is a selected form with more intensely red new growth. Easily grown it makes an excellent ground cover for any shaded or sunny position as long as it is given a modicum of extra water during dry periods. Height 20-40cm width 30cm or more.
