A lovely, compact foxglove with upright spires of rose-pink, trumpet-shaped flowers, each bloom marked with a delicate white throat covered in darker speckles. Unlike many traditional foxgloves, ‘Dalmatian Rose’ is quick to flower, often producing its handsome flower spikes in the first year.
The sturdy stems bring welcome height without taking over the border, making it an excellent choice for weaving amongst grasses and other perennials. Grow in full sun or light shade in good, well-drained soil, with extra water during prolonged dry weather. A charming foxglove for adding colour and structure to the summer garden, and a favourite with bees.
