Celosia spicata ‘Parfait Ruby’
A colourful summer annual with richly coloured flower heads in shades of ruby red and rose pink, set above green foliage. The velvety blooms bring welcome colour and texture to the garden and are particularly useful in the cutting patch, where they combine well with softer, more delicate flowers. They also dry well for winter arrangements.
Best grown in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Plant out once the weather has warmed and risk of frost has passed, as celosias are sensitive to cold. Water regularly during dry spells, avoiding waterlogged soil.
