Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil. Ads lime if soil is too acid. Thin as required
Directions: An easily grown annual best planted by thinly sprinkling the seed in the garden during spring. It will germinate grow and produce its flowers in 6 to 8 weeks. This poppy is happy in any sunny position, even parts of the garden with poor soil. It is both heat and drought tolerant. Once established it will self sow each year.
