The first Australian release of this new compact form of Mrs Macgregor’s sought-after ‘Swan’ series of Japanese Windflowers. ‘Elfin Swan’ makes a prolific display of white flowers with a delicate purple blush on the reverse of the petals. Making only 40-50cm in height and perhaps half that in width, this Japanese Windflower is ideal for smaller gardens with low-light positions needing a lift. Japanese windflowers are easy to grow in a light shade setting requiring just a little watering during the hottest times of year. 50cm x 30cm.
Raised by that fine Scottish nurserywoman, Elizabeth McGregor, the ‘Swan’ series of windflowers stay where they are planted and don’t spread like Japanese windflowers.
