Agastache aurantiaca ‘Copper Rose’
We trialed this larger flowered and more vigorous selection of A. aurantiaca in our stock beds for a few years before releasing it. ‘Copper Rose’ is a soundly perennial plant which carries a long succession of tubular, copper-apricot flowers ageing to rose-copper. Growing 100cm tall by 70cm wide it enjoys a sunny spot in the garden and is quite drought hardy when once established. Our resident New Holland Honeyeaters feast on the nectar of its flowers from mid-summer until late autumn. Cut it back to the basal new growth during winter.
