Nepeta racemosa ‘Walkers Low’
Walker’s Low Catmint
‘Walker’s Low’ catmint has been growing in our double borders for a dozen years or so. Strong vertical clothed in greyish leaves, carry spikes of lavender-blue flowers of a similar colour to N. ‘Six Hills Giant’ except the bracts of ‘Walker’s Low’ are darker making the flower spikes appear deeper in colour. This plant was named for a garden in Ireland not the height of the plant. Great as a border or as a companion to roses. 40cm by 80cm. Best grown in a sunny spot ‘Walker’s Low’ is drought tolerant when once established.
