Nepeta racemosa ‘Walkers Low’
Walkers Low catmint has been growing in our double borders for a dozen years or so. Stiff upright stems, clothed in greyish leaves, carry spikes of lavender-blue flowers of a similar colour to N. ‘Six Hills Giant’ except the bracts of ‘Walker’s Low’ are darker making the flower spikes appear deeper in colour. This plant was named for a garden in Ireland not the height of the plant. Great as a border or as a companion to roses. 40cm by 80cm. Needs a sunny spot.
