Hosta plantaginea ‘Venus’

'Venus' is a medium sized Hosta which produces the most deliciously fragrant, trumpet shaped white flowers held well above the foliage on 50 cm tall stems. The large handsome leaves are bright glossy green, quite different in colour from others of its clan. ‘Venus’ is best grown in dappled to medium shade where it should be kept well-watered during the summer months. We grow Hostas in large pots where their superb form and colour are displayed to best advantage.
