Named for Ed Carman, the legendary nurseryman who owned Carman’s Nursery in Los Gatos, California, this selection has larger, more flared flowers which are also a more orange shade of red. Terrific summer and autumn flowered perennial for a hot, sunny spot. Once established it is drought tolerant, but will also grow in any well drained soil. 40cm tall by 60cm across. One of the best new imports of this genus.
