Outside of the cooler hills districts it’s best planted in some light shade in a spot where it doesn’t dry out during summer. V. tomentosum will eventually make a large shrub some 3 metres tall by nearly as much across. It produces its incredible flat white flower heads on horizontal branches during spring. Deciduous.
