During spring 10cm lace cap heads of flowers are produced which when pollinated become clusters of large ivory white berries which later turn into translucent red berries. During spring and summer the deeply lobed leaves are glossy green. In autumn the leaves turn to brilliant shades of red and orange. Happy in any sunny or lightly shaded spot if given a little extra water during dry periods. This shrub will eventually grow 300cm tall by 200cm across but can be kept smaller by pruning.
