Veronica longifolia ‘Ronica Fuchsia’
A terrific variety with long, narrow, bottlebrush-like heads of deep fuchsia pink flowers, carried on sturdy 30cm stems above the foliage. It makes a wonderful vertical accent towards the front of the border or in a rock garden, where the vivid flower spikes rise neatly amongst lower-growing plants. Flowering can be extended by cutting back the spent stems, encouraging fresh flowers to follow.
Growing to around 60cm tall by 30cm wide, ‘Ronica Fuchsia’ is a tough, frost-hardy perennial that is easy to grow in full sun and good garden soil. Give it an occasional deep watering during prolonged dry weather. A fine choice for bringing strong colour and structure to a sunny perennial planting.
