Sedum spectabile ‘Mini Joy’
‘Mini Joy’ is a smaller growing version of the popular Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’. It grows about half the height of the latter whilst still producing during summer large heads of light pink star flowers. The flowers age to deep rose pink and then to bronze as summer progresses into autumn. The “stout upright stems” are clothed in rather succulent pale green leaves. ’Mini Joy’ will eventually grow 40cm tall by as much across and is best planted in full sun. Whilst pretty drought tolerant a little extra water during dry times wouldn’t go astray.
