Little Blue Stem grasses are native to the tall grass prairies of North America where the buffalo used to roam. ‘Standing Ovation’ makes clumps of wide (for the species) blue, red tipped leaves which during autumn turn attractive shades of red and maroon. This autumn colour lasts well into winter, The purple-bronze flowers stems are tipped with white flowers which are held well above the foliage during summer. Drought and heat tolerant when once established, this superb plant will grow 80cm tall by 40cm wide.
