This native to the tall grass prairies of North America where the buffalo used to roam. Ha Ha Tonka ( named for a national park in Missouri) is an upright selection of blue stem with upright growth, particularly hairy greenfoliage which turns an intense red during autumn. “Purple-bronze flowers on branched stems rising above the flowers appear in 3inch long racemes rising above the foliage during summer.”
Drought and heat tolerant when once established, this superb plant will grow 80cm tall by 40cm wide.
