This handsome meadow sage makes flat rosettes of crinkled leaves from which metre tall stems carrying the flowers are produced. These taller clones are a so useful in the garden especially as the nursery trade is obsessed with producing super dwarf varieties which look OK flowering in a pot but are unimpressive in the garden. Meadow Sage are happy in any sunny well drained spot which gets a little extra water during very dry spells, and it will rebloom after dead-heading throughout summer and into autumn. 100cm by 70cm.
