Salvia ‘Meigans Magic’
This is one of the most telling of all salvias. Growing a metre-and-a-half tall by a metre wide, and clothed by large, felty leaves, S. ‘Meigan’s Magic’s 30 cm long spikes of white flowers held in deep violet-black calyces make a fabulous display from mid-summer until late autumn. In gentler climes than our harsh Central Victoria garden, it will flower from early spring until mid-winter. This superb Salvia was raised at the South Australian nursery Tupelo Grove.
