Salvia longispicata x farinacea ‘White Flame’
This terrific new variety, a hybrid between Salvia longispicata and S. farinacea, was a super performer in our flower garden a couple of years ago. From late spring until late autumn it produced spikes of startlingly white flowers held well above a green leafy plant. Best grown in full sun or very light shade it is one of the most heat tolerant of plants. It will grow 55cm tall with a spread of 40cm.
