This native of the Caucasus has to be one of the most intensely silvery white plant of all plants making á mat of evergreen rosette of hairy silver foliage just a few centimetres tall. When happy it will make a mat 50cm or more across. 30cm tall stem produces mauve to deep violet flowers. Best grown in a well drained spot in full sun.
