‘Cherry Red’ is a much-prized old South Australian variety grown in the trade for perhaps 60 years as the preferred year-round cropper in the Adelaide Hills. A distinctive blueberry tone to the upright stems to 60cm to 70cm. New to us but has been highly recommended by Victoria’s premier growers who have an association with the sources going back to the post war era.
