This beautiful little penstemon carries its blue-purple flowers on 25cm tall stems over basal clumps of glossy green leaves. A native of the mountains of Colorado and Wyoming where it grows on dry rocky slopes some 1600 to 3000 metres in altitude. Best grown in a sunny well drained spot.
