Flowers, the colour of a pinot noir grape, are carried on 70cm tall stems on an evergreen shrubby perennial from late spring until autumn. ‘Russian River’ is a super relatively new variety with all the virtues. Growing 70cm tall by 70cm wide it is best grown in a sunny spot and given a little extra irrigation during dry periods.
