Marigold ‘Sugar and Spice White’ (Tagetes erecta)
A compact, bushy annual boasting white double carnation-type creamy yellow flowers that will fade to white as they age. Flowers appear in early summer, until the first frost. Strongly aromatic flowers and foliage have insect-repelling qualities. Easy to grow and low maintenance.

When to sow: Early to late spring
Where to sow: In seed trays under cover or in permanent spot in the garden when the danger of frost is over.
Depth to sow: 1/2cm
Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible.
Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilised soil.
Spacing: Between plants: 50-60cm
Directions: Suitable for cut flowers as well as the garden. Dead head occasionally to prolong the display. Height 40cm high x 45-60cm wide
