Marigold ‘Sierra Orange’ (Tagetes erecta)
Semi-tall erect plants with very large orange flowers on sturdy stems. Uniform series selected for the depth of colour. Tagetes erecta germinates in about 7 days at temperatures around 20C. It features a medium height to about 70cm.

When to sow: Early to late spring. Where to sow: In seed trays under cover or in permanent spot in the garden when the danger of frost is over. Depth to sow: 1/2cm. Aspect: Full sun or as sunny a spot as possible. Soil: Prepared, well drained, fertilized soil. Add lime if soil is too acid. Spacing: Between plants: 50cm – 60cm.
Directions: A tall grower suitable for cut flowers as well as the garden. Dead head occasionally to prolong the display. Height 70cm width 60cm.
