During summer and autumn whorls of long tubular orange flowers are produced on new season’s growth. It is drought tolerant when once established. Whilst the top may be cut back by frost this plant will come away from its roots when the weather warms up. Plant it a little deeper than pot level. 120cm tall by 100 cm wide here at Lambley but much bigger in milder gardens. Plant after severe frosts in exposed positions.
