Kniphofia ‘Percy’s Pride’
This superb plant, raised by the late Alan Bloom in his East Anglian nursery and named for his foreman, makes a fantastic display from early summer until mid-autumn. The greenish yellow flowers opening from green buds are carried on very long flower spikes held on stiff 120cm tall stems. The foliage is very handsome too, dark green, upright and symmetrical. Happiest in full sun, drought tolerant but is most beautiful when given good soil and some summer irrigation.
