Hypericum ‘Rowallane’

This cultivar arose as a chance seedling found in the 1940s in the Rowallane Garden in Northern Ireland which is now the headquarters of the National Trust. Growing up to 180cm tall by 150cm across H. ‘Rowallane’ is perhaps the finest plant in the genus. It produces large, warm yellow, bowl shaped flowers from late spring until well into autumn. Happy in sun or light shade ‘Rowallane’ needs a little extra summer irrigation. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
