Heuchera ‘Obsidian’
The aptly named ‘Obsidian’ produces vigorous clumps of dark purple-burgundy, almost black foliage, topped with cream flowers on dark stems to around 45cm tall in late spring and summer. An excellent contrast plant, its deep foliage works particularly well alongside plants with brighter, more vivid colours. The foliage forms clumps around 20cm tall and 45cm across. Grow in a position shelter from hot western sun and drying winds and provide regular moisture during dry periods.
