Helleborus x nigercors ‘Ice Breaker Ruby’
This prolific flowering hybrid between H. niger and H. argutifolius (syn. H. corsicus) combines the best attributes of both parents. The ruby purple, strong textured, outward facing flowers are produced over a long winter spring period. Later in spring the flowers age to pale green tinted peach. The flowers are carried on strong stems and held well above the foliage which is handsome in its own right. Height eventually 50cm and width 60cm.
