Helleborus x hybridus ‘Annas Red’

‘Anna’s Red’ displays deep crimson blooms throughout the winter and early spring. Unlike most of its kin it makes a wonderful cut flower lasting well in a vase. Named for Anna Pavord, the English garden writer, this is one of the finest cultivars. The foliage is handsome too, glossy green with lighter marbling. Happy in any sunny or lightly shaded spot that doesn’t parch during dry weather. 50cm x 60cm If planted during late summer or early autumn, ‘Anna’s Red will flower this coming winter.
