Helleborus x glandorfensis is a complex hybrid containing the genes of at least four species, H. arguifolius, lividus, niger and orientalis. ‘Ice ‘n’ Roses Merlot’ is a compact, medium sized plant carrying masses of rich maroon, outward facing flowers during late winter and early spring. It will eventually grow to 50cm tall and as much wide.
