The flowers of ‘Polar Bear’ are a brighter white than older varieties and the individual flowers are quite a bit larger. A very tough and disease resistant variety, it will reflower if given good conditions. Best grown in full sun it will not be happy in very acid soils, say below a Ph of 5. It is easier to pick than older types due to close laterals on the stems. Height 60-90cm width 40cm.
