Wands of 150cm tall, thin stems carrying a myriad of white butterflies swaying at every breath of wind, gives this variety a grace which has been lost in the dwarf varieties so prized by modern plant breeders. ‘White Butterfly’ is very close to the wild species as it grows the US states of Louisiana and Texas. Easily grown in any sunny spot where it will, when in flower, make some 150cm tall by 80cm across. It is drought tolerant when once established.
