Gaillardia x grandiflora ‘Mesa Yellow’
This plant caused much favourable comment when it flowered in our flower borders last year. Mesa Yellow was an All American Selection winner in 2010 which isn’t surprising as each tidy, compact plant produces a blanket of clear light yellow flowers from spring until late autumn if dead headed occasionally. It needs a little summer irrigation and is happiest in full sun. It will grow 40cm tall with a 35cm spread.
