Easier to grow in our climate than the better-known E. hyemalis, E. cilicica self-sows in the Lambley garden. Sow the seeds immediately. The first year that germination takes place all that is produced are the cotyledons. The first true leaf appears the following year and with luck flowers are produced the year after that, although you may have to wait another year. This aconite also grows wild in Iran and Afghanistan.
