Flowers of exquisite beauty, deep pink and white, held on thin wiry stems, are displayed during spring over copper tinted new foliage. The divided leaves age to deep green and make a dense clump. The divided evergreen foliage is handsome for most of the year but is best cut to the ground during mid-winter as the spring flowers and new foliage make a lovely combination. Epimediums are woodland plants and most need a moisture retentive soil in a light to medium shaded spot. Height of foliage 20cm width 30-40cm.
