Epimedium x omeiense ‘Myriad Years’
This naturally occurring hybrid between E. acuminatum and E. fangii was collected in the Sichuan province of China by the American plant hunter, Dan Hinkley. The Epimedium x omeiense hybrids are named after the highest of the Four Sacred of China, Mt Omei where the first of these were found found.. ‘Myriad Years’ produces large purple and white flowers during early spring and the mottled new foliage adds to the effect. 40cm tall by 40cm wide. Epimediums are woodland plants and most need a moisture retentive soil in a light to medium shaded spot. 75mm pot.
