The steel-blue flower buds, of the rarely offered Echinops ‘Blue Mist’, open to large powdery, mauve-blue spherical flower heads. Bold divided foliage, stiff vertical stems and the drumstick flower heads give this plant great architectural strength. Echinops are by far and away the most commented upon plants in our flower borders. Rarely offered. Full sun and deeply friable soil for best results but will tolerate a range of conditions. Herbaceous and frost tolerant. 120cm x 75cm.
