This beautiful Mexican endemic succulent has fleshy grey leaves tipped with crimson. It forms a solitary rosette some 20cm across. The bell shaped pink flowers are held on 20cm tall carmine coloured stems. Frost hardy down to -4C. E. colorata is best grown in full sun and kept moist but not wet.
