This hybrid between the yellow flowered perennial D. grandiflora and the common purple flowered foxglove D. purpurea carries pendulous warm raspberry-pink bell-shaped flowers during spring and summer. ‘Summer King’ is best planted during summer and autumn for flowering the following spring and early summer. The flower spikes can reach 60-80cm tall and the plant will need a 30-50cm space.
